Paradise Farms dehulls sunflower seed for human consumption, Ausigold 62 and Ausigold 4 have become the companys preference for sunflowers as they are the most suited to dehulling. These sunflower hybrids are both planted in the spring and summer and are also highly resistant to diseases such as rust & alterneria. The sunflower seeds that grow on these plants are large in size, which is better for dehulling as seed that is too small will be graded out and put into kibble. The largest seed possible is required for human consumption.
